Indian sandstone is available in two forms – riven (which means the stone is naturally split along its fault line) and sawn (the stone is sawed straight off the block in large slabs that are then cut down to the required paving size). The surface can be honed, sandblasted, brushed or flamed, which gives it its natural warm hues.

Its super-smooth surface brings a touch a class to any backyard patio area and can be used to great effect with contrasting pebble borders or shrubberies.
